“Tweet your dumb lines,” Ntukza On Having His ‘Smart’ Punchlines Qouted 10 Years Later

“Tweet your dumb lines,” Ntukza On Having His ‘Smart’ Punchlines Qouted 10 Years Later. Back in the days of Teargas Ntukza and his mates Ma-E and K.O, delivered records that carried more than just classical beats and flows but solid rap punchlines that still carry relevance to this day.

A twitter user wrote one of the iLa rapper’s lines from one of the Teargas songs “I need a shoulder to crayon, ngifuna uku’colour.” These lines weren’t quoted, not many figured earlier that they belonged to Ntukza.

The rapper was triggered by how when he first spat these lines, people didn’t have the mental capacity to understand them and now they have the audacity to quote him.

“I’ve had some of my punchlines miss-understood & go upside many heads.. only to make sense 10 years later.

“They will diss your lines when they first hear them & not have the mental capacity to understand what they mean. When the slumber is done 10 years later, they will tweet the same lines as if it’s theirs,” wrote Ntukza.
