Newcomer On The Block Behold Benzo Playlisted By Apple Music And Teases Visuals For Single

Young rapper Behold Benzo makes industry waves as her album is loved by many and as two of her tracks make Apple Music ‘High Maintenance’ playlist.

Introduced to the world in November 2020, Newomer Behold Benzo has already made waves in the industry, with a banger EP out, potential collaboration already on the way, and two songs playlisted on Apple Music she is certain to have a great 2021. 20-year-old Benzo released her 6-track debut EP Kumanikazi produced by 031 Choppa the only artist featured on the EP is Cape Town based rapper Lookatups.

Fellow rapper Moozlie hinted on her Instagram that the two rappers could be working on a collaboration produced by 031 Choppa. After only being out for two months, Behold Benzo has much to celebrate as she has been playlisted on Apple Music Hip-Hop’s High Maintenance playist next to Megan Thee Stallion, Saweetie, Doja Cat and ENNY. Benzo’s songs Imali and Kumkanikazi. Although most of her music is in vernacular to which she pays tribute to her roots it’s safe to say that the Johannesburg based rapper has brought a new style to South African hip hop as it grows exponentially.

The Kumanikazi posted a short visual for her track Imali on her Instagram shot by Zeetakesnicepictures, this possibly be a sign of visuals from the EP coming to fans soon.

In an interview with the infamous Hype Magazine, Benzo says that she strives for authenticity, but she is still exploring her style. The newcomer has already received tons of love from twitter users who thoroughly enjoy her music.

Other twitter users have described her as ‘a pure talent’, ‘a baddie’ and ‘a BIG BIG deal’. It will be interesting to watch her growth in the forthcoming years to see how she settles into the hip-hop industry next to other industry greats.
