“Riky Rick saved my life” – Costa Titch on his success as a rapper so far. Rapper and dancer Costa Titch has been successful on his journey in SA Hip-Hop. The Areyeng rapper has worked with the likes of Cassper Nyovest, DJ Maphorisa and 25K to name a few. Titch had fantastic 2020 with the release of his debut album Made in Africa.
AKA released a short clip of what’s to come as Costa Titch joined him on on an episode of ‘The Braai Show With AKA’ on twitter.
The two rappers chatted about how Costa Titch started as a young dancer and how he transformed into one of South Africa’s most successful rappers today. He mentioned that his very first payment in the entertainment industry was a pair of shoes after dancing for Cassper Nyovest.
AKA also made sure to keep it light hearted and crack a joke about the Nokthula rapper when Costa mentioned his name.
AKA asked the rapper about his close relationship with the Ungazncishi hitmaker Riky Rick. Costa Titch praised Riky Rick in saying, “Honestly speaking he saved my life. I was at a point where if Nkalakata wasn’t a success I didn’t know what would be”.
Costa Titch featured both AKA and Riky Rick on the remix of Nkalakata.
