5 SA Hip Hop Rappers Who’ve Featured In Amapiano Hit Songs. A lot of rappers have caught on to the Amapiano wave and have jumped on the trend of diversifying their sound and fusing their hip hop sound with Amapiano and Kwaito sounds.

The likes of Focalistic and Cassper Nyovest have managed to master the art of fusing the sound, so much that Mufasa claims that he made it okay for rappers to jump on Amapiano hits. Although that’s still up for debate, there is no doubt that Cassper has helped the likes of the Major League DJ’s, Kabza De Small and more.

These are a few of the hip hop rappers who have jumped on some of our favourite song from the Yano’s.

Cassper Nyovest – Le Plane E’Landile

Although 2020 was a bust of the year Cassper Nyovest jumped on the popular Amapiano track by Major League DJz titled Le Plane E’Landile alongside Abidoza, Kammu Dee & Ma Lemon

Riky Rick – VSOP

Mr JazziQ came through with a prayer anthem for the Yano’s, introducing Mzansi to some of 2020’s breakout artists including Reece Madlisa, Zuma, Mpura, 9umba and of course the king of hip hop’s very own Riky Rick.

Focalistic – Mercedes

Focalistic show cased his versatility once again on the 2020 banger by Semmi Tee dedicated especially to the slay queens titled Mercedes

Costa Titch – Lebo Malume

Costa Titch shows of his vernacular bars and dance moves on Alfa Kat’s single titled Lebo Malume alongside BanabaDes.

Burna Boy – Sponono

As unexpected as it was, Kabza De Small featured the most unlikely combo that one could ever think on his Amapiano song titled Sponono which instantly became a hit featuring heavy weight hip hop and afro beat artists such as Capper Nyovest, Burna Boy, and Wizkid.
