Boity’s Boss Response To Being Asked Why She’s On The Cover Of Man Magazine. Boity started her life in the entertainment industry as an actress before she gave up the screen for being an emcee. She has grown immensely and is giving boss answers to anyone who is stopping her.

Boity recently featured on the cover of Man Magazine South Africa. The Thembi collaborator is the third South African women in history to feature on the cover of the popular magazine.

Other female features on the magazine included award winning entertainment personality Bonang Matheba and rapper and production company owner Nadia Nakai.

When Boity shared the her feature on the cover of the magazine with twitter fans, a critic asked her why she was on the cover of a magazine dedicated to men. He wrote, “Why are you on a man Magazine?“.

In true Boity fashion she gave a boss answer to the question! She wrote “Cuz I’m a Grootman!“.

Def Jam Africa took some time to reminisce about how far Boity has come in her career. The record label threw it back all the way to 2010 and shared Boity’s first acting gig ever! A young Boity appeared on a Wimpy advert that promoted Wimpy’s newest cheese burger at the time.

Since her acting debut, Boity has appeared on our small screens a few times. She acted as one of Shona Ferguson’s daughters next to Minnie Dlamini-Jones in Mzansi Magic’s hit series Rockville. She also presented the South African version of MTV’s Ridiculousness next to Thomas Gumede.

Musically she has grown and collaborated with the finest talent to create trailblazing music. She has worked with Nasty C, Reason, Yanga Chief and Riky Rick.

She has not announced any plans for her music for 2021 so we are yet to see what she has in store.
