Cassper Explains Why SA Celebs Aren’t As Celebrated As American Celebs Following Jay Z’s Big Win! Cassper has always made it a point to express himself as truthfully as possible on his social media pages no matter if he catches any smoke or not. This time some could agree with his opinion.
A number of SA rappers took to twitter to congratulate Jay-Z on his new deal where he sold half of his champagne brand Ace of Spades to LMVH. A fan tweeted at the Nokuthula rapper questioning why black South Africans celebrate Americans more than we do our own celebrities.
He tweeted, “Black South Africans celebrate black American success more than they celebrate black african success. Did you see how many people congratulated Jay z especially celebrities? Wait till one our own achieves or progress, they all go mute“.
Cassper responded saying that people view black South African stories as failures. Cassper responded, “Cause they view the black South African stories as thier failures. Sad but you definitely have a point. Infact , o right. Re bodile.”
Cassper has worked extremely hard to get to where is today as one of South Africa’s most successful rappers right now. Building a successful music career while balancing being the CEO for his record label Family Tree Records.
The award winning rapper announced that he has an exciting business venture lined up for the first quarter of 2021 that could lead him in the direction of becoming South Africa’s first hip-hop billionaire. He has not announced what the venture could be though!
A collaboration with local footwear brand Drip footwear could also be in the works for the successful rapper as he met with it’s founder Lekau Sehoana. Cassper has always been fond of local brands and always supported them.
