Saudi Explains His Feature On Black Panther Album! Having the opportunity to feature on the Black Panther album is one of the most proud moments for SA Hip Hop as a whole. Saudi recently spoke in an interview about how the feature came about.
“OK this is how the collaboration came about, Kendrick Lamar and Top Dawg Entertainment reached out to Sony and then they got hold of our label. So they were looking to do a feature and he was interested in the music that we do and the movement and stuff. He is very well with our catalog and our track record,” said Saudi.
The rapper went on to say that Kendrick tricked them because they didn’t know that the songs were for the Black Panther album. The songs were recorded in South Africa and mixed there also by the ATM engineer Ruff.
