Dee Koala Scores Major Collaboration With Tommy Hilfiger. Award Winning Dee Koala came into the SA Hip-Hop industry guns blazing with her smooth and unique Xhosa rapping sound. Apart from rapping, the Whuzet maker is known for her exclusive style and swagger. In the past she has collaborated with Adidas South Africa and Sportscene’s Redbat.
Dee recently took to twitter to announce her collaboration with American clothing brand Tommy Hilfiger on their 2021 Spring Collection. She says she has been chosen as one of two artists in Africa.
She tweeted “From Khayelitsha to the world, I present to you the 2021 #TommyJeans Spring Collection which just launched globally featuring me as one of the only two chosen artists in Africa”
In promoting the jeans, she took the time the time to create tutorial featuring three Xhosa words to connect with Tommy Hilfiger fans around the world.

Dee has been relatively quiet on the music front. If she is working on something, she has kept everything on the down low. She released her debut album 4 The Khaltsha in 2019 featuring Moonchild Sanelly, Lookatups and SimulationRxps. She went on to win Best Female at the SA Hip-Hop Awards in 2020.
