DJ Citi Lyts Asks For Space To Refocus Two Years After ProKid’s Death. After losing his brother ProKid, DJ Citi Lyts has done everything to defend himself and his family from ProKid’s passing. The DJ even released a song Kaslam featuring Blayze and Bless in honour of ProKid’s memory.
DJ Citi Lytes recently took to twitter to express that his brother’s death has affected him greatly and he needs time to refocus himself, he continued to say that even so long after his brother’s death he feels drained.
“Please allow me to focus on myself 100% my brother PRO has left a lot for me to deal with from the music to the brand Dankie San, people that want to be crooks and undermine my family have drained me enough it’s been two years now. May I pls be allowed to deal with it all later.”
In September 2020, DJ Citi Lyts expressed that he wished TS Records would release ProKid’s masters and pay up all his royalties to his family but said that the process still hasn’t been done. DJ Citi Lyts has had to defend ProKid’s memory in many ways including urging fans not to buy merchandise with ProKid’s signature title ‘Dankie San’.
