How SA Rappers Reacted To AKA’s Engagement. AKA recently surprised his fans and fellow industry mates with announcing his engagement to fiancé Nelli Tembe. This is AKA‘s first confirmed engagement and everyone was excited for him.

Award winning rapper AKA and Nelli surprised everyone with the news on the 22nd of February 2021 on their respective social media pages. AKA announced the news very simply, just posting the gorgeous diamond ring on Nelli’s finger on his Twitter and Instagram.

A number of rappers flooded AKA’s comments sending congratulatory messages to the rapper for his newly announced engagement. The rappers include L Tido, Khuli Chana, Yanga Chief, Tumi Tladi, JR, and Costa Titch.

On the same day as his engagement announcement, AKA dropped the music video for Finessin’ off his Bhovamania EP. The track is special to AKA and Nelli because the happy couple shared a romantic moment and wrote the song together. Nelli even took her hand in being a vocalist for AKA and features on the track’s hook.

The 21-year-old recently clapped back at critics who told her, her relationship was going to end in tears. She did not take a liking to those comments at all, responding back to them that the jokes on them for being trolls as she showed off her beautiful ring.

The two have kept their relationship quite private for the most part with Nelli’s Instagram being closed off to the public as she only accepts personal requests. Her request list must be long with people trying to get a look into her life.

AKA and Nelli are yet to share details of their wedding day as SA Hip-Hop fans wait patiently for the news.
