Makwa Drops First EP Under His Record Label Mzonkonko Records. Makwa has been the powerhouse behind some of SA Hip-Hop’s biggest hits. The SAMA nominated producer has produced for Kwesta and AKA and is now becoming fully independent with his record label Mzonkonko Records.

The Touch My Blood producer recently took to twitter to announce that his Okoko EP released under his Mzonkonko Records record label. This is Makwa‘s first release under his record label.

He tweeted, “Okay, Its Time . MzonkonkoRecords #OkokoEP OUT NOW on SOUNDCLOUD AND AUDIOMACK“.

Sjava posted a screenshot of the EP and congratulated the producer turned rapper on the release and for starting his own independent label.

He tweeted “Good day Congratulations to Makwa for starting Mzonkonko Records all the best here is their first offering called ngicela ukuk’khipha it’s out on SoundCloud go get it“.

The two track EP was produced and engineered by Makwa, Kimishibeats and Zoey T and has only been released on SoundCloud and Audio Mack streaming services.

He also released a track to for Valentines Day titled 2 Piece. This track was the first official release of Makwa’s record label.

The rapper has an exciting 2021 planned as he has released the artwork for a single title Serious featuring Bassie but has not announced the release date for the track. He is also preparing to launch a YouTube channel so Makwa certainly has a couple of things in store for his fans.

He also shared snaps of the behind-the-scenes of the music video for Serious featuring Bassie. So fans should expect the music video for that track soon. No release date has been set yet.
