Ruff Calls Out SA Rappers With Wack International Features. Plenty of SA rappers have featured international artists and been successful in the collaboration. Kwesta has worked with Wale and Rick Ross, Cassper with The Game and Stogie T with Benny The Butcher.
1020 Cartel’s Co-owner Ruff took to twitter to share his opinion about SA rappers who have featured international features. He even mentioned that rappers only feature them for their names.
“This thing of international features that are not making sense must come to an end. Niggz just wanna feature these Americans for their names and clout not for the sake of making good music.” Ruff Tweeted.
A fan mentioned that the only feature that wasn’t forced was Kwesta’s Spirit that featured Wale. “The only international feature that sounded real, authentic and not forced was Spirit the rest”.
Tkay BenchMarq agreed with Ruff and mentioned that AKA’s All Eyes On Me was the only song with international features that did exceptionally well.
“Ruff you’re right the songs don’t even bang cause niggas don’t jell on me demos. Handle features cause you know whoever you featuring gonna add something on the demo perfect SA feature for me till this day is ALL EYES ON ME by AKA everyone added juice on that demo”, Tkay said.
