Stogie T Announces Second Season of Freestyle Friday. Stogie T is known for his style of luxury rap and being smooth on the bars. The SA Hip Hop Awards’ 2020 Lyricist of the year Stogie T has never failed to deliver fire verses be it on his own tracks or as a guest feature.
During the COVID-19 Pandemic in 2020 he created a platform where rappers everywhere could show their freestyle skills every Friday.
The By Any Means rapper took to Twitter to announce the second season of Freestyle Friday in a powerful promotional clip. He captioned the tweet “#FreestyleFriday #ApplyPressure #MakingSARapAgain #Season2 @ChannelO #CultureCapitalNetwork”
The second season of the show will be on Channel O and will feature studio performances, interviews and of course bars!
The first season of Freestyle Friday took SA Hip-Hop by storm as rappers from across South Africa took part in the challenge. Rappers that have taken part in Freestyle Fridays include YoungstaCPT, Rouge, Indigo Stella, and L Tido.
In attempts to grow the platform further, Stogie T gave up and coming rappers the opportunity to rap for him on his Instagram live every Friday evening during the National Lockdown.
Stogie T is in a league of his own and it seems as if the rapper has a lot more up his sleeve for fans in 2021 but only time will reveal all.
