Watch! Riky Rick Features In New Defy Advert. Besides being a diverse musician, Riky Rick is a model and actor too. He has partnered with a number of brands throughout his career and even developed his own in the form of Cotton Fest.

The Ungazincishi hit maker took his hand in acting and recently featured in a new advert for Defy Appliances. The advert, advertises Defy’s new Solar Hybrid Range of fridges.

Not only does Riky feature in the advert as the dad of the family he also created a head bopping and fun jingle that fits perfectly in the advert.

In the past Riky Rick has collaborated with a number of well known brands in his career, He has collaborated with the likes of popular skincare brand Vaseline, luxury alcohol brand Remy Martin and Nike. He is also the owner of his own Legends Barber in Midrand’s Waterfall area.

He has also built an amazing brand for himself that has grown exponentially. He is the founder and CEO of his own independent record label Cotton Club Records and is also the Director for his own festival Cotton Fest where a number of rappers have performed over the years.

Riky Rick has not been as active on the music scene individually having only released two tracks himself in 2020. He dropped Ungazincishi featuring Focalistic and Tyler ICU that was received relatively well by fans.

The businessman and rapper has also dabbled in one of SA’s fast growing genres, amapiano and contributed to Mr JazziQ and Busta 929’s smash hit VSOP and Focalistic’s Onkoro.

Riky’s last EP release was in 2017 when he dropped Stay Shining EP. He has not let slip of any plans to release music in 2021 but seems as if he is working on growing his cotton fest brand greatly.
