Big Zulu Shares His Opinion About Nasty C Naming His Album ‘Zulu Man With Some Power’
Big Zulu Shares His Opinion About Nasty C Naming His Album ‘Zulu Man With Some Power’. Big Zulu is a humble and calm person who is not fond of getting involved in any beefs with other SA rappers. One thing Big Zulu can be commended for is putting his head down and putting all his focus into growing his music and relating to his audience as much as possible.
The Inhlupheko hitmaker recently joined MacG on his podcast, ‘Podcast And Chill’ to speak on a number of topics relating to his music, where he grew up and his life being a taxi driver. Whilst asking fan submitted questions, MacG asked Big Zulu if he feels Nasty C is misappropriating Zulu culture by calling himself ‘Zulu Man With Some Power’.
Big Zulu told MacG that is questions get people in trouble, but he did however answer the question.
Big Zulu responded that we cannot throw Nasty C away while he’s overseas. “He is our child who is overseas doing what he has to do. He has his own way of doing things, I don’t think we should have a problem.“
“I respect the brother, I respect the boy and I don’t think it is only for Zulus. You see all of that, he is where he is, he is representing the country overseas, he is doing what he is suppose to do“, Big Zulu said.
Nota Baloyi previously commented on Nasty C’s album title, stating that the ‘Zulu Man With Some Power’ title fits Big Zulu more than it does Nasty C. He said that Big Zulu deserves the title because of his authenticity and domination in SA Hip Hop in 2020 after the successful run of his smash hit ‘Mali Eningi’.
