Boity Fires Shots At Euphonik On Twitter Amidst Rape Allegations. Boity is one of the few rappers in South Africa who often share their opinions and spread awareness about social issues that the country is facing. Boity often has no problem standing up for herself or coming to someone else’s defense.
Recently popular radio DJs, Euphonik and DJ Fresh made multiple headlines when a woman came forward to accuse the two DJs for raping and drugging her 10 years ago. Euphonik then shared what was described by social media users as a fake whatsapp message from the accuser.
Boity put her foot down and fired shots at Euphonik at making a joke about everything. The Wuz Dat rapper called for Euphonik to confess or let his lawyers handle the matter.
After her response, fans rallied behind Boity and supported her comment.
She wrote, “You’re being a vile asshole. This is not a joke!!! You’re being accused of the most violent crime and you’re turning it into a shits and giggles circus! Either confess or let your lawyers handle this. But what you’re doing here on Twitter is disgusting!“.
Boity has not held back when it’s come to firing shots and standing up for herself when needs be.
Boity recently became the third South African woman to grace the cover of Man Magazine behind entertainment personality Bonang Matheba and fellow rapper Nadia Nakai.
A critic asked her why she is a woman who is on the cover of a magazine that is targeted at men. She responded confidently to the critic ,”Cuz I’m a Grootman!“
Boity has not announced whether she has any plans for her music in 2021. She released her debut EP 4436 in 2020 and fans have been loving it. It’ll be interesting to see what she has planned for fans next.
