Yanga came up with AKA and he gets advice from him. has been in the game since way back and not just in the game but on the tour bus with the legendary Skwatta Kamp. Yanga taught himself the production of music videos so he could help artists represent themselves the way they saw themselves.
The Awuth Yam hitmaker got into film because of rap and because of film his rap career took off. After having worked with AKA on Kontrol and several other videos, the rapper appeared in AKA’s Run Jozi music video where he was holding down the hook but wasn’t credited for it. He direted the music video as well.
After the Run Jozi music video dropped, Yanga has been putting in that work and the masses are now familiar with his face and work. Yanga who plans on releasing an E.P this year which we are excited for was asked what advice he gets from AKA and he said, “Starve your distractions, feed your focus.”
