Cassper Announces Date & Special Venue For ‘Fill Up’ Concert

Following his boxing match defeat against Naak Musiq, the rapper resorted to Twitter and announced the next big event of the year. Cassper Nyovest made it known to his followers that there will be a Fill-Up concert this year, but he wasn’t sure of the venue as he asked his fans for ideas. “Up next, another Fill Up. But where? Where should we bring Fill Up ?”

Last night Cassper Nyovest took to Twitter and announced that he will announce big news this morning. “BIG ANNOUNCEMENT TOMORROW MORNING! THE MOMENT YOU HAVE ALL BEEN WAITING FOR!!! IS HERE!!!” He tweeted. Once again Cassper delivered his words as he announced the next Fill Up which will take place in his hometown.

The Root OF Fame boss stated in a tweet that he is taking the show to where his rap career started and all will go down at a venue that is close to his grandmother’s house. “Breaking News!!! FILL UP is back & we going home. DEC 3rd!!! Mafikeng, Mmabatho stadium, where it all started for me as a young kid from the township. This stadium is a walk away from my grandmother’s house where I grew up. Tickets out now at Web Tickets! #FillUpMmabathoStadium He tweeted.

Nyovest made history in 2015 when he became the first South African artist to completely sell out the TicketPro Dome. In 2016, he performed his Fill Up sequel at Orlando Stadium, which has a 40 000-person capacity, and once more, he outperformed himself by selling 37 000 tickets.

His third instalment was held at FNB Stadium. According to Okay Africa, Nyovest planned to sell 75 000 of the arena’s 90 000 seats, and while he fell short by 7000 (he sold 68 000), the increase in sales was a new high for him.
