Pics! AKA Pays Lobola For Fiancé Nelli Tembe! Multi Award winning rapper AKA is a man who lives unapologetically out loud. The rapper has been with his fiancé Nelli for just over a year now and the couple is going strong, and they are getting stronger by the day!

The Casino hitmaker recently took to Twitter and Instagrm, to share photos of his Lobola ceremony for his partner Nelli Tembe. In the photos are both AKA and Nelli’s friends and family members in Durban for the big event. The rapper looked dapper in a three piece navy blue suit and brown shoes to match whilst Nelli wore a simple traditional dress and some heels.

Congratulations for the couple poured in from the SA celebrities on the rapper’s Instagram page. Celebrities that congratulated AKA are Naak Musiq, Andile Ncube, DJ Capital, Scoop Makhathini and fellow rappers Priddy Ugly and Zingah. Other congratulaions came in from Nota Baloyi, and Sizwe Dhlomo.

Nelli also commented on the rappers post writing “My husband” with AKA responding “my wife“.

AKA tweeted asking which broadcaster is willing to put up money for the wedding content, he asked fans to tag their favourite broadcasters. Could this mean that AKA would want his wedding televised? The couple is also yet to announce a date for their wedding.

AKA and Nelli Tembe got engaged in February 2021 and along with the engagement announcement, AKA dropped his music video for Finessin’ off his Bhovamania EP. It was only right for him to drop the music video around that time because he revealed that him and Nelli wrote the song together. Nelli’s vocals are even featured on the track’s hook.
