Student pastors have called on students across the country to put aside their differences and work together to find an amicable solution to the current impasse. “We need to speak a message of reconciliation, a message of love and hope. A message that will help us as young people not to go back to how things were 20 years ago,” said Khoatheli Sello in Pretoria.

“All day thinking bout student challenges including what happened in Bloem last night.. Honestly hurts to see such” said Cassper Nyovest about the issue. “Saddest thing is no matter how much money we donate, how many tweets we post, how many marches we show up at.. It still doesn’t fix things” the rapper explained.
