Watch! AKA Drops Behind The Scenes For Finessin’ Music Video. Rapper, executive producer, and television show host AKA has achieved success in multiple areas in his life. Being the platinum selling artist that he is, he finds it important to show fans how he achieves his success.
AKA recently took to twitter to announce the release of the behind the scenes video of his latest music video Finessin’ off his EP Bhovamania. He dropped the link and captioned it, “CHECK IT OUT!!!“
In the video AKA doubles up as a mechanic who is also a part-time racer. AKA explained how he feels being a rapper that also acts in his own music videos.
The Finessin’ rapper said, “When you’re a rapper you have to be like a character. You have to choose are you a good guy, or are you a bad guy? So for me in the little opportunities that I’ve had to act in these things, I’ve always enjoyed it. I have to basically be like what I’ve been doing in music I have to do in another field.”
The behind the scenes video details how AKA and the production crew shot the stunning music video. The music video’s co-director, Lindo Langa explains that they were inspired by the Too Fast To Furious film series. He says that they used the film because a lot of them wanted to pay homage to it.
Project Manager for the video Mandla Makhubela explains that it is exciting for some of the crew as young filmmakers to be working with AKA having grown up on his music.
He said, “All of us grew up on Kiernan’s music in some way, when you were a teenager whatever. So for a bunch of young people to be really working so close and so dedicated on a project. I think that’s dope“.
