Taking to Twitter, one of the SkhandaWorld boss fans remarked that Kendrick Lamar’s flow on the track “Like That” bears a resemblance to K.O’s style on “ROCKABYE.” “The flow on that Kendrick verse sounds just like @MrCashtime on ROCKABYE.” Read the post.

In response to the comment, K.O acknowledged that Detroit rappers originated the flow, giving a special mention to Kdot. “Detroit rappers are the kings of that flow, they got the current wave lowkey. Kdot bodied,” K.O said.

In the wake of Kendrick Lamar‘s verse on Like That, the US rapper fired bars at fellow rappers J Cole and Drake. “Sneak dissin’, first person shooter, I hope they came with three switches,” K-Dot raps. “I crash out, like, ‘F**k rap,’ this Melly Mell if I had to/Got two Ts with me, I’m snatchin’ chains and burnin’ tattoos, it’s up/Lost too many soldiers not to play it safe/If he walk around with that stick, it ain’t Andre 3K/Think I won’t drop the location? I still got PTSD/Muthaf**k the big three, n***a, it’s just big me/N***a, bum, what? I’m really like that.”

Kendrick Lamar’s verse follows closely after Big Sean dropped a new freestyle just a day earlier. In Sean Don’s track, he aims at what fans have dubbed the “big three” of rap: Drake, Kendrick Lamar, and J. Cole. “I think where I lack most as an artist is consistency/I just haven’t had the energy to compete with enemies/Or y’all so-called bigger three/But every verse I lay, fans love to say, ‘Man, n***as is sleep!'” Big Sean raps.
