Lordkez Celebrates First Sold-Out Show With “You, Me & The 90s LIVE.” South African alternative R&B star Lordkez has turned her 2025 project You, Me & The 90s into a full-circle moment with her very first sold-out show.
The live concert, titled You, Me & The 90s LIVE, wasn’t just a performance—it was a celebration of her artistry, her team, and the community of fans who have supported her journey.
Released in March this year, the project quickly became one of Lordkez’s most defining bodies of work. Translating that soundscape into a live experience, she filled the venue with emotion, nostalgia, and energy that left her audience in awe.
Lordkez took to the stage with gratitude at the heart of her message. “I have so much love and gratitude in my heart, thank you to every one of you who came through to spend this special night with me,” she shared.
She thanked her creative family at STAYLOW for their unwavering support, and celebrated her talented live band: Dr Eze, Jesse the Drummer, Toroh O Wano, and Jomel Zage as the backbone of her performance.
Adding to the magic of the evening, Loatinover Pounds, Shekhinah, and Mars Baby joined as special guests, while D Phault and Nahledii kept the energy alive on the decks. Styled by H&M, Lordkez looked every bit the star under the spotlight.
The night was also powered by Untitled Basement, who hosted the event, and Play Energy Drink together with Playteam SA, who provided the extra spark.
