DJ Dimplez Explains The Inspiration Behind His Upcoming Single ‘Kub Hlungu’. DJ Dimplez is one of the most widely respected Hip Hop DJs in South Africa. He has always delivered quality hits and has worked with some of the freshest talent on the SA Hip Hop streets. It seems as if he’s ready to drop some new heat for his fans.
The Way Up hitmaker recently took to twitter to share that he has an upcoming single coming out soon and wanted to shed light on what inspired the single.
In a series of tweets he explained that those who know him personally know that he’s been going through a lot lately and everyone can admit that things just aren’t the same anymore.
He said that recovering from losing a family member has become more difficult because we can’t mourn in groups like before. He says that him, Phantom Steeze, Touchline, Jillz and Zandii J (who are features on the track) had that in mind while creating the track.
He tweeted, “People that know me personally all know that I’ve been going through a lot lately. We can all admit that things aren’t the same anymore. With all the stresses that the pandemic has caused,things such as death have become occurrences that we see more often than we’ve ever seen them before.”
“Recovering from losing a family member or a friend has become more difficult. We can’t mourn as a group like we used to. For crying out loud we are clicking links to join funerals now. This is far from normal.”
“We did this song with all of those situations in mind. I hope it helps some people in some way or another. COMING SOON”, He wrote.
DJ Dimplez has not announced a release date for the single, but hopefully fans can expect it from him soon. This will be his first solo single for 2021.
