DJ Speedsta Claps Back At A Fan Who Asked When He’s Dropping Because SA Hip Hop Needs Him. DJ Speedsta is easily one of South Africa’s best Hip Hop DJs. Apart from delivering fire Hip Hop sets he has also teamed up with some of SA Hip Hop’s hottest rappers to produce some dope music. He is certainly one who takes his time with his music.
One of DJ Speedsta‘s fans took to twitter to ask the star DJ when he is dropping because SA Hip Hop needs him. Speedsta quickly clapped back at the fan saying that he’s dropping soon but everyone should just chill. He also said that Hip Hop isn’t dead and he is just happy to be alive. He also gave a shoutout to CashTime’s DJ Mr X who just dropped a single titled Asambe.
He wrote, “Im dropping soon, BUT YO! Everybody chill on “needing “ & what what … Dude, right now I’m just happy to be alive. Hip hop isn’t dead. These stupid fu** *rs always on my ass, I’m not the only DJ… DJ Mr X is currently holding this down!! So happy for X!!!!“.
He then also used the opportunity to talk on the differences between having a song his friends like and having a song so big that even his mom knows about it like Mayo. He also put Dr Peppa next to DJ Mr X saying that they both have the biggest songs at the moment.
“No disrespect, but there’s a very big difference. It’s 1 thing having a song that my friends like. It’s another having a song that even my mom knows.(Mayo) Peppa & X have the biggest hip hop DJ songs out at the moment!! And that’s that !!“
Lastly Speedsta mentioned that you can live at home and still be hot on the streets because that is unfortunately that’s what the situation is in South Africa. He said that until people have sold records and made a life from DJing they should leave him alone.
