Emtee Suspects Ambitiouz Entertainment Was Involved In The Suspension Of His Instagram Account
Emtee Suspects Ambitiouz Entertainment Was Involved In The Suspension Of His Instagram Account. Multi award winning rapper Emtee has been through very tough hardships in his life since his entrance into the SA Hip Hop community. The rapper has faced being treated unfairly by his previous record label Ambitiouz Entertainment, and now suspects that they are trying to tear him down even more.
The Laqasha rapper recently took to twitter to share a screenshot of an email he received from Instagram themselves mentioning that they have received complaints that his account has violated copyright laws and that his account will be removed in 24 hours. Emtee suspects Ambitiouz Entertainment was involved in the suspension of his account tweeting “Lethomile” which translates to “You’re Starting”.
Emtee has gone against Ambitiouz Entertainment before. He previously mentioned that he wanted to challenge Ambitiouz’ CEO Kgosi Mahumapelo to a fist fight because he felt exploited by the record label. Emtee has outwardly spoken about the challenges he faced while at the label including being underpaid while being signed to them.
In an interview with MacG, the successful rapper revealed that he was receiving a fixed monthly salary instead of also being compensated for his gigs. He said that he was receiving 20K from the record label and said they never disclosed how much they were receiving from clubs for his performances.
The rapper is already having an amazing 2021, having released his third studio album Logan named after his youngest son. SA Hip Hop has been jamming the album non stop and has been supporting the rapper constantly. Soon after it’s release, Emtee secured the top spot on the Apple Music Hip-Hop/Rap charts.
He has plans to drop two music videos for Johustleburg and iThemba. He has not announced any release dates but fans should look out for the drops!
