Forbes Africa Names Nasty C An Icon On The African Continent. Nasty C has achieved so many things at such a young age and continues to inspire younger artists. The rapper has received plenty of awards acknowledging the impact of his music in South Africa and on the African continent. Since his debut in 2015, the rapper has been flying the South African flag high.
The Black And White rapper was recently mentioned in Forbes Africa’s 100th issue cover story titled ‘100 Innovations, Inventions & Icons From Africa’. He was named one of 40 Icons on the African Continent and holds position number 12 on the list.
He recognized the achievement by Forbes Africa and mentioned that he has overly honored for the recognition by the popular and influential magazine. The award winning rapper said, “I’m very excited and honored to have been thought of and given such a huge opportunity. I believe that what makes an icon is one’s ability to keep striving for greatness no matter the circumstances.“
Nasty C was given this honor next to some of Africa’s biggest stars in all industries, including Davido, Wizkid, Trevor Noah, DJ Zinhle and athlete Caster Semeyna.
The rapper has been on an impressive roll so far in 2020 and in 2021. He released his Zulu Man With Some Power album that was well received by audiences around the globe and worked with some of America’s top talent including Ari Lennox and T.I. He launched his Zulu Man With Some Power podcast that has featured some inspiration names in the industry both locally and on an international scale.
With his feature on the Coming 2 America soundtrack Nasty C’s music is reaching every corner of the world as his sound travels everywhere.
