Nasty C has recently been roaming around Atlanta, Georgia where he has been rubbing shoulders with some of the world’s best talent including Ari Lennox, Grammy nominated rapper Snoop Dogg, DJ WhooKid and one half of Earth Gang, Johnny Venus. The rapper also had a meet and greet in Atlanta where he spoke on a variety of topics including how he met DJ WhooKid.

He was asked what his best moment was with signing with Def Jam in 2020. He mentioned that he didn’t have a particular best moment but he had a few best moments but signing day wasn’t necessarily the best.

Well signing day wasn’t the pivotal moment for me of that whole process. The first couple of meetings was like the best moment for me. Just the thought of them even considering to work with me and seeing something special in me, that was pivotal. Then we had a lot of meetings in between until signing. Signing day was really just for my fans to say oh, it’s official.

Nasty C released his Zulu Man With Some Power album under the label. The album did extremely well and was received by his fans globally. Above that he expanded the brand and launched a documentary on Netflix exploring his time in Japan and launched his own ‘Zulu Man With Some Power’ podcast.

The rapper is gearing up to release a second mixtape with DJ WhooKid but has not mentioned when the project will drop.
