SA Hip Hop Reacts To The Passing Of AKA’s Fiancée Nelli Tembe. The SA Hip Hop community is faced with tragedies now and again, but this is an unexpected tragedy that hit the community. The news of the unexpected passing of AKA‘s Fiancée Nelli Tembe has shocked the country, some are even at a loss for words.

The news of the passing of Nelli Tembe broke on Sunday the 11th of April 2021. The rapper and his partner were in Cape Town when it was reported that she had tragically passed away. A portion of the statement from the Tembe and Forbes families read,

It is with the deepest regret that we, the Tembe and Forbes families confirm the untimely passing of our beloved fiance, daughter, sister, and daughter-in-law, Anele Tembe (22). Anele tragically passed on in the early house of this morning, Sunday 11 April 2021.” The statement continued to mention that the families are in shock and are dealing with their emotions.

SA Hip Hop came together on social media, to send their heartfelt condolences to the award winning rapper and his family. Producer, Gemini Major expressed his condolences and mentioned that he can’t imagine what the families are going through. He asked for God to give them strength.

Condolences to Kiernan and the Tembe family,Can’t even imagine what they going through,. ,Lord give them strength to get through this tragedy“.

L-Tido asked for strength to be sent to AKA as he is dealing with this painful time. “Lord please give my brother AKA strength please!!!!!! This is way too painful“, His tweet read.

Cassper, Nadia Nakai and Boity expressed their shock about Nelli’s passing.

Sidwell Ngwenya, previously known as Psyfo, sent strength to AKA and his family. He tweeted, “What a sad weekend! I cannot begin to imagine your pain Kiernan. May God give you and your family strength during this trying time. Death be not proud.

Blaklez sent a message of love to the rapper whilst Major League DJz sent strength and prayers to the families.
