Snoop Dogg Explains To Nasty C Why He Never Met Mandela. Now being the International superstar that he is, Nasty C gets to sit down and chat with some of the music industry’s top musicians and executives. Through his Zulu Man With Some Power Podcast he has educated many about the music industry and is continuing to share the stories of other artists on his platforms.

Nasty C recently travelled to Atlanta where he is reportedly working on some new music. The rapper hung out with the likes of Ari Lennox, DJ WhooKid and Grammy Nominated rapper Snoop Dogg. DJ WhooKid, Snoop Dogg and Nasty C sat down as DJ WhooKid introduced Nasty C to Snoop as the biggest artist in South Africa.

Nasty C asked Snoop if he had ever been to South Africa and met some of our legends. Snoop told Nasty that he has been to South Africa before but he was stopped in London on his way to meet Nelson Mandela and was taken to jail before Snoop could meet him.

“I never met Nelson Mandela. Actually when I was going to meet him they took me to jail, I got stopped in London. It was like sabotage where they froze me from going there and they put me in jail and locked my crew up and I had to reschedule and all that. I think it was sabotage cause they didn’t want two Kings to meet, but I think our spirits are connected cause so I’m doing the work he would’ve been doing at this age you know what I’m saying.“

“I look at it like that, when certain people are put on this earth they gotta pass the baton to the next man to run with, to run with the work. You know the ones before us, they did they job, they did as much as they could now it’s our job to go as far as we can so when we pass it off to your generation, y’all keep running.” Snoop explained.
