Stoan Praises Cassper For Bringing The Business Side To Motswako. Stoan Seate member of popular music group Bongo Muffin has contributed plenty to the South African music industry. Since his success in his 20 year + music career, he has since diverted away from music but is still a highly influential individual.

Stoan recently appeared on MacG’s podcast as his latest guest to speak about a number of topics, including topics surrounding Oskido, being a member of Bongo Muffin, life as a father as well as the topic of Motswako rap and the rappers from the sub genre of SA Hip Hop had an exponential influence on the industry.

He mentioned that he bumped into Motswako by mistake and HHP made sure that it was polished. He continued to say that Khuli Chana and Morafe brought the illest flows, Tuks brought amazing punch lines and said Mo’Molemi is a great story teller and says he is the root of the tree.

Stoan then got to speaking about Family Tree boss Cassper Nyovest and mentioned that Cassper has brought the business side of things to Motswako, notably international levels of business.

MacG added to Stoan’s point saying that Cassper is the only rapper that can’t faulted for anything because he is a well rounded rapper. Stoan then said he feels struggle did that to him.

“Struggle, I think struggle did that to him. They were laughing at his ponytail. You know he was under those people and I’m sure at some moments he had his ice boy moments cause he had too. You know, those sleeping on the couch moments where you’re asking yourself where the f*ck am I. Until one day you see at the end of the tunnel is not a train coming at you“. He explained.

Stoan then he doesn’t believe in rating rappers but confirmed that his top 4 are Khuli, Tuks, Mo’Molemi and Cassper.
