SA rappers have worked their way to the top to become some of the country’s most successful performers and have gained a massive fan base through their efforts. Some fans can get a bit carried away in how they show their support but nonetheless they love their favourites!
Superstar performer Riky Rick was recently in one of South Africa’s neighboring country Namibia performing at an event where a fan got a little too close to the rapper and showed excitement for him by licking his shoes. The video clip was posted to Twitter and went viral.
Black Twitter had mixed reactions to the video and all reacted to the fan’s excitement to see the rapper. Here are some reacts to the video:

Another fan wrote that she had hoped the video wasn’t taken during the COVID-19 Pandemic with another responding to her writing that it was taken on the 24th of May 2021.

Riky Rick has had a successful 2021 so far with the launch of Cotton Fest merchandise in collaboration with Puma. Soon after it’s release, the rapper announced that the merch was sold out leaving fans asking the rapper when the next batch of clothes will be released.
The rapper also scored a role on a recent Defy advert and added to his list of many other brands he has worked with in the past.
