Bonang Demands R500K From YouTuber Who Said She Introduced AKA To Cocaine

Bonang Demands R500K From YouTuber Who Said She Introduced AKA To Cocaine. Businesswoman and television producer Bonang Matheba is a woman who takes her image very seriously. Having been in the entertainment industry for over a decade she knows exactly how to handle her public affairs.

Following the passing of AKA’s fiancée Nellie Tembe, hosts of a podcast on the Everything SA Music YouTube channel Rea Gopane and Black Steph dissected her father, Moses Tembe’s speech at her funeral where he mentioned that his daughter was neither suicidal nor did she commit suicide. He also highlighted that South Africans should deal with the abuse of alcohol and drugs in our youth.

While speaking on the topic in their podcast, the podcast’s co-host Rea Gopane boldly claimed that he was told by Scoop Makhathini that AKA is on cocaine and Bonang was the one who introduced him to the drugs. He can be quoted saying, “Scoop told us that AKA is on coke, and Bonang is the one who got him into cocaine. Scoop told us that bro!“.

Bonang did not take the accusation lightly and served Gopane with a letter from her lawyer Stephen Thomson, demanding he he posts an apology and retracts his statement. The letter also demands that he pay Bonang R500 000 within 10 days and should the payment not be made he should issue his address so a summons can be served to him.

An extract of the letter read, “Whilst a public apology and retraction will go some way towards ameliorating the hurt and the assault on my client’s reputation and her dignity, my client also intends seeking financial compensation in the form of damages. To this end I am instructed to demand from you, payment of the sum of R500, 000 within 10 days. Should this sum not be paid within the time prescribed, I have instructions to issue summons without further notice to you. Please provide your physical address to avoid summons being served via Facebook and or / Instagram.
