Cassper On The Speculation That DJ Tira Hindered The Success Of The Durban Leg Of ‘Fill Up’. Cassper‘s music has taken him everywhere around the country and even across the globe. The rapper has also toured different cities with his ‘Fill Up’ brand. He has performed at Johannesburg’s FNB and Orlando Stadiums as well as The Dome. He also performed at Royal Bafokeng in Rustenburg and at Durban’s Moses Mabida Stadium.
The rapper recently sat down with Pearl Thusi on BET’s ‘Behind The Story’ to speak through his career and all the ups and downs he has faced throughout. He also spoke on fatherhood, and his beef with AKA. Pearl Thusi asked Cassper a bold question about his ‘Fill Up’ series.
Pearl asked him if DJ Tira contributed to the Durban Leg of his ‘Fill Up series’ not being as successful as he had hoped and if it is true that there are still some people that owe him money and wanted him to confirm everything. Cassper mentioned that he can only confirm it if it was a document and if he had an email where someone had said something then he would confirm it.
“I also heard stories.. All I know is that there was a lot of foul play and I wasn’t treated well. And the people who are involved know the truth you know. I’m not gonna accuse anybody of anything on television. All I know is that I wasn’t treated well, I wasn’t accepted well by people I thought you know, were my friends or people that I thought wanted me to do well.“
“So it was like damn… alright but at the same time it was one of the most beautiful moments because I’m able to walk out of Mabida knowing that the people love me. Mabida was a bad experience for me and my team. People did foul stuff to us they pulled the plug on us to make sure that this thing does not happen. They know themselves so I don’t need to mention names, but they know in their hearts that they can’t believe what happened without them. They can’t believe it happened without their money.” He said.
