Costa Titch Speaks Out About The Pressures And Anxieties Of Being A Celebrity. Award winning rapper Costa Titch‘s breakout single Nkalakatha going viral was the step he needed in order to take his career in the direction that most benefitted him. The pressures of dealing with fame comes with being a superstar rapper and everyone wants a piece of the artist, Costa took time to speak out about how it has affected him.
The Durban Poison hitmaker interacted with his fans on his Instagram page as he usually does and was asked how he deals with the pressures and prejudices of being a celebrity. He began by explaining that no one can be prepared for the life and he constantly has to remind himself that God put him on the earth for a reason. He continued to open up about how he has dealt with it.
He wrote, “No one can prepare you, I just have to remind myself that God put us here for a reason. This wasn’t luck, this was pure hard work over years ad years with no results. 1 day everyone likes you , you say 1 wrong thing and the next day they all hate you. Rather just keep quiet and let the music talk.“
“I’ve had crazy amounts of anxiety hit me because of the pressure. And also just had to remind myself that not everyone will like my music. More than anything I’m just going to be me an focus on those that appreciate me. We didn’t work this hard to get here and let the pressure kill it all. We coming hard!“
The rapper mentioned that he has plans to release more music in 2021 but he isn’t in much of a rush because his debut album Made in Africa is still doing so well.
