MacG Questions Kwesta’s Lack Of Business Sense Following Rap Lyf Records Drama
MacG Questions Kwesta’s Lack Of Business Sense Following Rap Lyf Records Drama. MacG‘s podcast series ‘Podcast And Chill’ has always been a hot spot for South Africa’s finest entertainers to set the record straight on what’s happening in their lives or rumours that have hit the streets. MacG also uses the platform to share his own unfiltered opinions about certain situations.
On the most recent episode of Podcast And Chill, MacG and Sol Phenduka speak on a number of topics that have been trending in the SA streets including the beef between Josiah Disciple and JazziQ amongst other things. The two also spoke about Rap Lyf Records and all the drama around it.
The two podcast hosts tried to make sense of the drama and simplify the situation in a few words because a lot of role players (Kwesta, Nota, and Makwa) have been telling their own versions of what went down on various platforms.
MacG mentioned that he is confused at the drama because of the confusion of Rap Lyf Records previously owned by Kwesta and Kid X and Urbantainment owned by Nota Baloyi and how the money coming into the businesses was split. He mentioned that what confused him specifically was how Leroy Khoza was getting all the money from Rap Lyf.
When Sol asked how Leroy was doing it, MacG answered, “That’s what I don’t understand, so that’s why I question Kwesta’s… and don’t get me wrong, great guy love him to bits it’s not like I’m trashing him or anything. I question his lack of business sense in terms of okay cool, what’s that saying? Fool me once, jokes on you. Fool me twice, jokes on me.“
“Cause it seems like what happened with Urbantainment and Rap Lyf is the same thing whereby he’s making all this music but he doesn’t own sh*t“, MacG said.
