Music executive Nota Baloyi and award winning producer Makwa’s relationship began years ago when the two were working at Kwesta’s Rap Lyf Records and through Urbantainment. The two of them have both spoken about their failed working relationships on different media platforms and are constantly biting at each other through social media, this time is no different.

Nota recently went on Instagram live and spoke rather passionately about Makwa‘s family life and claimed that the producer is not a present father to his kids and that they are suffering. Nota also said that Makwa is jealous of him because his parents took care of him.

“You’ve got other kids, abo EQ and all these people are out there at your studio. You’re providing food for them, you’re bragging about all the things you’ve… abo EQ those are adults they’ve got their own parents. Your kids are suffering! Your kids are suffering, they don’t have a present father. You are repeating the same thing when your father left.“

“Why are you repeating a generational curse? You go on a podcast, you complain about how bad it was that your father wasn’t there for you and everything else and you are jealous of me because my parents raised me in a home. You can’t be jealous of me. My parents did nothing special, they did what they are supposed to do. They brought me into this world. They are supposed to take care of me, it’s not a favour. My parents didn’t do me a favour, I’m not special.“

Makwa and Nota previously clashed after Makwa went on Instagram Live to demand money from artists who he has produced for and skipped out on payments to him. Nota showed up to Makwa’s home and the two got into a heated argument that ended in Makwa’s close friend and colleagues telling Nota to leave the house.
