Pics! Inside Nadia Nakai’s Birthday Dinner With SA’s Hottest Rappers. Multi talented rapper Nadia Nakai recently celebrated her 33rd birthday in Talum, Mexico with boyfriend Vic Mensa. She is continuing the celebration at Johannesburg with some of her closest friends.

Nadia Nakai Explains How Collaboration With Vic Mensa Came About

Nadia hosted a very intimate birthday dinner in Johannesburg at the Alice & Fifth restaurant in Sandton. She looked stunning in a blue gown designed by couture brand Scalo who has also designed for the likes of Khanyi Mbau, Lira and Blue Mbombo.

She captioned the images of her in her gown, “My Birthday Dinner”.


The Practice hitmaker’s birthday party was attended by some of SA Hip Hop’s top talents and celebs. Attendees of the party included Sjava, Gemini Major, Boity, DJ Speedsta, DJ Milkshake, Tatum Lewis, Bobby Blanco, Bash Vision, Richard Mahogny, Ayanda MVP, Uncle Partytime, Moonchild Sanelly and more.

In celebration of her birthday, she had a three tier cake with “Happy Birthday Bragga” written on the top of it. Here are some highlights from her dinner.

This is Bragga’s second birthday celebration after she celebrated with Vic Mensa earlier in the month. The two started dating recently and are easily one of the hottest couples right now.

Nadia has had a fantastic year so far, securing two television gigs and dropping the music video for her single Practice featuring Vic Mensa. The high quality visuals were shot in Mensa’s home country Ghana and she said it was the first time she had worked with videographers outside of South Africa.

Bragga is also up for a SAMA for Best Hip Hop Album this year for her album Nadia Naked II next to her peers, Boity, Yanga Chief, Nasty C, Zakwe and Duncan. With SA Hip Hop fans sitting on the edge of their seats waiting for who will win, Nadia has a strong fan base behind her!
