Reason Celebrates SABC 1 Show uBettina Wethu’s High Debut Ratings. Heavyweight rapper Reason has been noted as one of the country’s most respected rappers. The Satan O Wele hit maker does more than just rap and scored himself a role on SABC 1’s newest sitcom. With a quick look at the debut ratings, the show is doing extremely well.

Reason recently took to twitter to share the ratings of South Africa’s newest shows and celebrated being part of the top rated show on SABC 1, uBettina Wethu. The show beat out the likes of Mzansi Magic’s Diep City, and SABC 2’s Die Sentrum. uBettina Wethu bagged a whopping 2.5 Million viewers on it’s debut.

In his tweet, Reason quoted Jay-Z’s lyric from his track Lost One featuring Chrisette Michele. His tweet read, ““This ain’t a diss song. It’s a real song” – Jay-z .”.

Reason plays a rapper named AJ on the show and acts next to the likes of Fareida Metsileng and Lesego Tlhabi popularly known as Coconut Kelz. Fans of the show have loved Reason’s role on the show and are always excited for the next episode of the series.

When asked what he has ben up too these days, Reason mentioned that he is one of the producers on Boity’s next project and he is sitting on his unreleased project. He shared the track list for his unreleased project and fans were shocked at the feature list for it. The project features the likes of Sho Madjozi, YoungstaCPT, Rouge, pH Raw X, Makwa, Naak Musiq, K.O and many more. He said he is waiting for the right time to release the project.

In 2021 he featured on Southside Mohammed’s single Nobody Really Safe and dropped a verse on Kwesta’s album g.o.d Guluva on the track Ma Se Kind that also featured Kid X.
