Riky Rick’s Cotton Fest Collaborates With Major Sports Fashion Label. Riky Rick has built an amazing brand around his annual Cotton Fest event and has introduced the SA Hip Hop community to a lot of young talents. The award winning rapper introduced merchandise that fans have been loving and he is now taking his brand to the next level.

The Pick You Up hitmaker took to twitter to announce a major collaboration with sports fashion label Puma. Riky Rick is partnering with them to create merchandise. The merch is set to be released on the 22nd of May 2021. It will be available both online and in Puma stores.

His tweet read, “NEVER DIE. MULTIPLY. Releasing this Saturday 22.5.21 via online, select Puma South Africa & Sportscene stores nationwide.

Riky Rick recently celebrated the anniversary of the Cotton Festival in February with a video remiscing about the 2020 festival that including a line up of over 100 artists. To celebrate, Riky dropped anniversary merchandise in the form of a basketball shirt and shorts combo that he also sold at a Cotton Fest pop up store in Johannesburg.

The rapper has worked with numerous brands in his life time including Defy which he featured in an advert for. He has also worked with Vaseline, MTN, Castle Lite, Remy Martin, Kiwi, and Maggi Noodles.

On the music side of things, Riky has been quiet with his last single UNGAZINCISHI being released in October 2020. The single featured superstar Focalistic and was loved by SA Hip Hop supporters. He also featured on a few amapiano singles and dropped a verse on Big Zulu’s mega hit Mali Eningi featuring Intaba Yase Dubai.

When he is not working with brands or working on his music, Riky is giving a platform for artists to speak about their music. He recently hosted new wave rapper Blxckie on his podcast Lab Live to speak about his rise in the SA Hip Hop industry and to unpack his single Mntase featuring Dr Peppa.
