Sjava Praises Two UK Producers Who Remotely Worked On His Track ‘Umcebo’. Multi talented artist Sjava has consistently won over the hearts of South Africans with his relatable music and soothing vocals. His music has also earned him international recognition and he even secured some producers from the United Kingdom to work on his latest project.

Sjava Shares The Explanation He Got From A Record Label About Why He Couldn't Be Signed In 2015

The Ngempela hit maker took to twitter to give a shout out to the UK producers who worked on his track Umcebo from his EP Umsebenzi. He mentioned that he had never met the two producers and were only ever working together remotely. He also mentioned that they had never even talked on the phone.

Another producer who was involved in the making of the EP was Ruff. The two of them even have their own independent label 1020 Cartel under which Umsebenzi was released.

Sjava’s EP 4-track EP dropped on the 4th of December 2020 and received a massive amount of love from his fans. In February 2020 the EP had achieved 5 million streams across all streaming platforms and achieved the number one spot on the Apple Music charts soon after it’s release.

The Abafazi maker has hinted that he is working on new music and even mentioned that he was in the studio with star producer Zoocci Coke Dope. The last full length project Sjava dropped was in 2018 when he released 18-track album Umqhele.

He has however made appearances on songs with other artists including legendary group Trompies on their single uKhala Kanjani and on Musiholiq’s single Gawulubheke featuring Anzo.
