He has dropped plenty of music over the years and collaborated with a wide variety of musicians including Cassper Nyovest, Maggz, Zakwe, and Unathi. He still plans to continue making music but says he’s taking his time with.

Zola was recently MacG’s latest guest on his Podcast And Chill series. The multi award winning rapper spoke about a number of topics including his kids, Brenda Fassie, HHP, his epilepsy and his music. He began speaking about the record label Ghetto Ruff and how he doesn’t know he made from the label.

He mentioned that he visited SAMRO (South African Music Rights Organisation) to see how much he had generated but was told that they can’t give him that information. He also questioned why both Amanda Black and Fifi Cooper have made good music but they aren’t millionaires. He emphasized that the two of them should be sitting on R10 Million.

Zola also spoke about the how taxing it is for an artist to perform in multiple provinces at different events in one night and that an artist doesn’t always know how much they are worth or how much they are receiving.

When MacG asked Zola if he owns his masters. Zola mentioned that the ones he has now he owns. Then he elaborated on his answer saying, “I’ve been recording for 20 years.
