AKA Reportedly Back In The Studio Working On New Music. Since the passing of his fiancée Anele Tembe, both the Tembe family and AKA have been in the media spotlight for a number of things surrounding her passing with the rapper even doing a tell all interview with Thembekile Mrototo. It is being reported that the rapper is working on brand new music.
The news of the Finessin‘ rapper being back on the studio came from a superfan of his on Twitter who says they spoke to AKA and he made her listen to one of his new records and she insists that the track is fire. “Spoke with Kiernan last night, he made me listen to one of his new records That ish is FIRE!! TRUUUUST ME!!!“.
The tweet was confirmed by DJ and producer Oscar Mbo who said he has also heard AKA’s new EP and confirmed that it is fire. “That new EP too fire, so tempted to bump it on my IG story but I have to respect the process” He wrote.
The last time AKA had released anything before Anele’s tragic passing was just before the two of them had gotten engaged. He released the music video for Finessin’ from his Bhovamania EP.
The rapper shocked the nation with what he had said in his Tell All interview. He gave details about the moments before Anele died saying that he was in the bathroom and when he came out she jumped off the hotel room’s balcony. He denied all claims of abuse and said that he had never laid his hands on her although leaked videos and pictures told South Africans a different story.
The rapper also answered questions about his alleged drug use and said that he has been exposed to drugs before in the entertainment industry but he said he won’t answer the question on Anele’s part.
