Cassper Drops Highly Anticipated Album ‘Sweet & Short 2.0’. After mentioning at the start of the year that 2021 will be the year that Cassper drops the most music, fans have been anxiously waiting to see what Cassper has in store for them. He later revealed that he would be dropping a strictly amapiano project that fans were curious about what it would sound like.
The Good For That rapper achieved his first number one on Metro FM with his latest single Siyathandana featuring songstress Boohle and Abidoza. The music video for the track is currently dominating YouTube’s Trending list at number one and has achieved over 800k views.
Siyathandana was also the number one track on Apple Music, Spotify, iTunes and Deezer making it the biggest song in the country at a point. Cassper is no stranger to achieving these targets and always sits quite comfortably at the top.
After dropping three singles from the album first, Cassper is now ready to deliver the full length project. He took to Twitter to announce the release of his 6th album ‘Sweet & Short 2.0’. The 10-track album features some of the biggest names in amapiano right now. Produced by Abidoza, Cassper has featured the likes of Samthing Soweto, LuuDadeejay, DJ Sumbody, Kammu Dee, Reece Madlisa, Zuma, and Lady Du.
Cassper’s first two singles off the album turned heads and got everyone fired up for the release. Angisho Guys and Ama Number Ayi’ 10 also made waves on Tik Tok as trending sounds. Tik Tok creators also created original dances to the songs.
