Cassper Reacts To Getting A Shout Out From Beyoncé

Cassper Reacts To Getting A Shout Out From Beyoncé. Over the years, Cassper has shared the stage with some phenomenal artists and has rubbed shoulders with others. He has been acknowledged a few times as a stand out artist from South Africa and continues to receive his flowers from global platforms.

Beyoncé formed a partnership with Global Citizen, ‘BeyGOOD’ and recently they have been celebrating a number of black artists across the globe for Black Music Month. South Africa’s very own Cassper Nyovest was one of the artists mentioned in celebration of the moment.

The BeyGOOD Twitter account wrote, “Celebrating the brilliance and creativity of Black Musicians who have influenced the world through their art #blackmusicmonth #BeyGOOD”. They described Cassper’s genre as both Hip-Hop and Afrobeat.

Cassper reacted to the news in disbelief simply tweeting, “Wow.” in acknowledgment of the tweet.

Cassper shared the stage with Beyoncé and Jay-Z in December 2018 at the Global Citizen Festival in Johannesburg. He gave a memorable energetic performance that festival goers still rave over. Other International acts that performed at Global Citizen included Ed Sheeran, Pharrell Williams and Coldplay with other local acts Sho Madjozi and Black Coffee also performing.

The Good For That rapper is no stranger to an international audience at all, having collaborated with some international acts himself. Cassper has worked with the likes of Anthony Hamilton, Wizkid, DJ Drama, The Game, Casey Veggies and Stonebwoy.

Cassper is set to release a strictly amapiano album on the 30th of June 2021. The 10 track album features the likes of Samthing Soweto, Abidoza, Lady Du, Boohle and DJ Sumbody. His latest single Siyathandana featuring Boohle and Abidoza is currently rocking the charts. It is the third single release from Sweet & Short 2.0.
