Jub Jub Returns To The Studio After Uyajola 9/9 Success. It has been a while since the world heard new music from Jub Jub. He has been prowling South Africa’s streets with Moja Love on Uyajola 9/9 assisting people who suspect their partners have been unfaithful to them. It looks like he is ready to hop onto the music and deliver some quality music.
The world last heard from Jub Jub when he released a remake of his 2006 track Ndikhokhele featuring some of South Africa’s biggest voices. The track featured the likes of Nathi, Rebecca Malope, Benjamin Dube, Judith Sephuma, Blaq Diamond and a few others. He announced that proceeds from the remake would go to the families of victims of his 2010 accident.
He recently took to Instagram to share some photos of him behind a recording microphone, getting ready to deliver a track or tracks… One can never be too sure. The first few photos he posted on Twitter were captioned, “This that fire you want huh?“
In his posts leading up to the posts of him in the studio he asked his followers for advice about what kind of song to make also mentioning that he feels it’s time for him to marry killing the music game.
Jub Jub is yet to announce a release date for his new music. Fans of the rapper and television host last heard a fully body of work from Jub Jub in 2009 a year before his accident in 2010. Jub Jub’s album Fresh Air had 11 tracks and featured Kelly Khumalo and R.J Benjamin.
He released was also featured on Dr Malinga’s single Uyajola 99 which was released in 2019. The two also recorded the music video for the track.
