New Music Friday! Two New SA Hip Hop Singles To Get Your Weekend Started! As we come to the halfway mark of the year, SA Hip Hop is seriously firing up as more and more quality music releases hit the streaming platforms. Looking at what has been released so far, the contenders for song of the year and album of the year are warming up and it looks like it’ll be a tight one.
This Friday features three of SA Hip Hop’s best hottest talents. Two of them teamed up on one single and are expected to give their fans more later in the year. Here is a look at the two singles.
Nasty C – Jack
Jack is Nasty C‘s second single for 2021. He has his fans and all of SA Hip Hop raving about the release. The song was first exclusively featured on the ‘Here Comes The Break’ podcast before being released onto other digital streaming platforms. The single was produced by none other SAHHA award winning rapper Flvme.
Nasty C is gearing up to release a joint mixtape with DJ WhooKid titled Zulu 2. While he was in the United States he was locked in the studio with Grammy award winning producer Zaytoven and Earthgang, whose music video he featured in. American rapper Dave East teased an upcoming song with Nasty C that is also set to be released soon.

MashBeatz & Thato Saul – SE TEPA
MashBeatz & Thato Saul are two names that are never forgotten when unpacking Pretoria’s Hip-Hop scene. The two recently announced that they are to release a joint project soon and have delivered their first offering SE TEPA. The pair are a powerful force together and leave no stone unturned in the single.
MashBeatz left fans on a cliff hanger after delivering his 2019 offering Fire in the Water but left fans waiting in anticipation for what’s next. Thato Saul recently released his album Members Only in 2020 with lead single 10K being a fan favourite.
