Pic! AKA Shares The Last Photo He Took Of Anele Tembe And Why Father’s Day Was Hard For Him. AKA has had a rollercoaster of a year. At the start of 2021 he announced his engagement to Anele Tembe. She tragically passed away shortly after and is now adjusting to life without her.

The rapper previously mentioned in a statement that he would be taking some time off of social media and his public affairs will be handled by his team. He recently came back to Instagram showing off his new puppy and taking his fans into the days of his life.

In his most recent Instagram post he shares an image of Anele Tembe which he says was the last photo he took of her before her death. He also mentions that Father’s Day had been difficult because he cannot imagine what a father would be feeling after the loss of his child.

“Fathers Day was very difficult for me. Difficult because as much as I have lost you, as a father I cannot imagine what it feels like to lose a child, especially someone as amazing as you. This is the last picture I took of you, and this is how I choose to remember you. I pray for your family every single day, as I do for mine. We miss you so much Anele. So so much. Everything reminds me of you”.

Anele fell to her death at the Pepper Club Hotel in Cape Town in April 2021. There were questions surrounding the nature of her relationship with AKA after graphic photos and videos were leaked to social media. Claims were made that the rapper was allegedly abusive towards her.

In a sit down interview with Thembekile Mrototo, AKA said that he had not laid his hands on her.
