Rouge Shares What Fans Can Expect From Her Upcoming Sophomore Album And Drops One Feature To Look Out For. SAMA nominated Rouge has been making boss moves since 2021 began. While balancing being a boss, she is preparing to release her sophomore album after the success of her debut ‘The New Era Sessions’.

Rouge Names The Rapper She Believes To Be The Best Performer In South Africa

The One By One hit maker recently featured on an short interview with The Journalist DJ about Amapiano in South Africa and what some of her future plans are. She revealed that even though she loves amapiano, none of her friends have suggested that she appear on an amapiano track.

The Journalist DJ asked Rouge how her plans have since changed following the announcement from the President about South Africa heading into Level 4 Lockdown. She explained that it gives her a chance to focus solely on the album and finish it without worrying about performing. She was also asked about her upcoming sophomore album and explained what fans should look forward too.

So excited! It’s called Love and Other Stuff. We’re talking raps, we’re talking melodies, we’re talking African songs, we’re talking features! Like none other. So, yeah this album is gonna be a taste of a lot of things. It’s gonna be a taste of Africa. It’s gonna be a taste of features people can’t imagine me doing songs with.”

I have the likes of Shekinah on this album, one of my favourite songs that I can’t wait for people to hear and yeah just the stories I’m gonna tell you. You guys are finally gonna understand who Rouge is now“. She explained.

She hasn’t mentioned when fans can expect the album to drop but it can be expected to drop in 2021.

Rouge has already dropped three singles in 2021, her latest being W.A.G featuring French rapper Youssoupha and Ghanian rapper Sarkodie.
