Towdee Mac Reflects On Meeting Maglera Doe Boy And Praises His Growth. Towdee Mac is easily one of SA Hip Hop’s OGs, having been in the game since before some of our youngest rappers. He has assisted in shaping SA Hip Hop into what it is today and remains an inspiration to the industry rappers.

The rapper turned radio DJ recently took to Twitter to reflect on meeting 018’s Finest collaborator Maglera Doe Boy. Towdee Mac mentioned that he met Maglera as a young boy and taught him everything he needed to know about the industry. He further praised Maglera for only coming to him when he needs guidance which doesn’t happen often.

Maglera Doe Boy was just a little kid when I met him. Taught him all about the game and he never forgot a single thing. What works for him is that he doesn’t wait for us to give or do things for him. He only comes for guidance, which he doesn’t even really need on most occasions.“.

Maglera began 2021 on a high note, being praised by fans of SA Hip Hop for his verse on Boity’s single 018’s Finest featuring him and Ginger Trill. Fans were stunned at Maglera’s flow and expressed excitement towards Maglera’s upcoming music.

He recently dropped his debut album 2Player but only dropped it on free digital streaming platforms as an ode to those who are unable to afford paid streaming platforms. The 14 track album features the likes of DJ Sliqe, pH Raw X, Khuli Chana, Kaygizim, DJ Speedsta, Gemini Major, and Priddy Ugly.

Maglera also delivered the music video to his first single in May, 10 Deep which was shot and edited by Motion Billy. He has not mentioned when he plans to release 2Player on other digital streaming platforms.
